Gain the Competitive Edge for College
The college application process is not just competitive, it can be complex and often intimidating. While service learning is an increasingly important factor that colleges and universities are looking for when evaluating applicants, students need to incorporate other success strategies to make their college application stand out.
Service Learning in Public Policy is a program that not only helps students "build their resume," but also coaches students in the art of the college application process. This preparation includes:
- Effective resume writing
- Developing a compelling personal essay
- Leadership development
- Communications training and interview skills
College admissions officers will provide students with a unique "behind-the-scenes" perspective on this process. This advice will enable students to create an effective and persuasive application that makes a positive impression and truly stands out.
